Event narrative (NOAA)
A devestating hail storm developed during the early morning hours in the Shreveport area. Widespread reports of hail up to baseball size were reported and even a few isolated report of softball size hail in southern areas of Shreveport. Many vehicles suffered heavy damage along with house rooftops being damaged. Also many windows were broken.
