Event narrative (NOAA)
Widespread flooding occurred in western Inyo County due to melting of exceptionally heavy winter snowpack in the Sierra. Numerous roads, bridges, culverts, and other structures were damaged. The event continued into July. The damage estimate for the entire event is given in this month.
