Event narrative (NOAA)
The Willapa River flooded near Willapa, reaching major flood levels. Downtown Raymond had a depth of 2 feet of flood water due to a combination of coastal flooding and flooding of the Willapa. Residents in the Willapa valley stated they had never seen the Willapa river as high as it was. Also, minor flooding of the Naselle river sent some water over Hwy. 401. NOTE: Damage estimates are for the entire Pacific county.
