Event narrative (NOAA)

Thunderstorms brought heavy intense rainfall over the Tucson Metro area. Rainfall totals ranged from 1 to 2.5 inches from Pima County Alert Gauges. ||Tucson Fire Department responded to over 25 calls with 15 of those calls relating to stranded drivers or stuck in swift moving water. Two adults were found dead in a wash after a swift water rescue attempt.
