Event narrative (NOAA)
Multiple rounds of rain produced flooding throughout the day. A sinkhole near Jones and Flamingo exposed a gas pipeline. Numerous streets were flooded and closed, and many cars were stuck in flood waters around the valley. Heavy rain caved in the roof of a small business and water poured in. One person was found dead in a detention basin.
