Heavy rain began to fall before sunrise and several intersections across Tarrant County had to be closed due to high water as numerous vehicles stalled. In east Fort Worth, 10 employees had to be rescued from a well drill site after becoming trapped by high water. A mobile home park in North Richland Hills had to be evacuated due to rising flood waters. High water rescues and evacuations were also conducted at an apartment complex in Arlington as high water entered numerous apartment buildings. At least 129 homes and 68 apartment units in Arlington suffered damage as the water levels reached 8 feet in some structures.
