Event narrative (NOAA)
A car stalled in rising flood waters Friday night as heavy rains accompanied thunderstorms. The passengers all managed to get out of the car but were immediately swept away. The woman who was driving and her daughter made it to safety, but the other passenger, a small boy, was not found until several days later.
