Event narrative (NOAA)

Extensive flooding in and around the Sharpstown area. One 17 year old female fatality with one 18 year old male injury when van they were driving became flooded outside of high school. Flooding extended into Houston metro with numerous flooded or completely submerged vehicles. 300 homes flooded.
