4 people were killed when driving across a flooded bridge across Hardy Creek in Cottonville. Another man was killed when driving across a flooded bridge across Ugly Creek in Norwood. Cars were stranded in Norwood and Locust, and people had to be rescued. 3 businesses in Oakboro were flooded.
