Event narrative (NOAA)
The Taylor county Emergency Management Director reported that a 42-year old male drowned in flood waters along U.S. Highway 80, just west of Carsonville. The highway was flooded because of excessive rain from the night before which caused a small creek to become flooded and overflow the roadway. The car became submersed in the flooded waters.
