High temperatures in Southeastern Arizona were 13 degrees above normal, causing Extreme HeatRisk. The Tucson International Airport reached a high temperature of 113 degrees Fahrenheit and was the hottest temperature reached in 2025. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was the primary factor in the cause of death for two individuals, one in Tucson and one in Marana.
