Hot temperatures 14 degrees above normal were experienced in the Tucson Metro area causing Major HeatRisk category to be reached. Tucson International Airport reached a high temperature of 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was a contributing factor in the death of one individual.
