Multiple broadcast media outlets reported the death of a 3 year old girl who was locked inside a vehicle located in the 1000 block of Parliament Lake Drive. The initial call was for a missing child and deputies arrived and discovered the child unconscious in the vehicle. Deputies rendered first aid and took the child to a hospital, where the girl was pronounced dead. Temperatures at the nearest weather station during this time were in the mid to upper 80s with dewpoints in the mid-60s.
