This was the warmest July on record at Seattle-Tacoma airport. On Wednesday (July 29) in Seattle, the high temperature reached 103 degrees (SeaTac Airport), a new all-time high. A heat related death occurred when a 66 year old male died in Seattle. The downtown Bremerton library closed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to excessive heat. Some UW librarys closed and several classes were held outside due to the lack of AC inside the classrooms.
