Event narrative (NOAA)

An 80 year-old woman was found dead in her home on the morning of January 20th. After an autopsy, the cause of death was determined to be hypothermia due to very cold conditions in her home, which did not have a functioning heater. The low temperature at the Peoria Airport that morning was 9 degrees.
