Event narrative (NOAA)

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office reported the death of a man due to hypothermia. The 79-year-old man was found dead on a porch and was not dressed for the weather. He suffered from Alzheimer's and had wandered away from his home. Temperatures were in the single digits in the morning and warmed to 20 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon.
