Event narrative (NOAA)

Wind chill temperatures ranged from 20 below to 34 below zero. One cold weather death was reported by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office. An elderly woman was found dead in her backyard around 3:30 pm on January 28th. She appeared to be returning from a trip to a store. It is believed she left her home to go to the store around 3:00 pm on January 27th.
