Event narrative (NOAA)
A 24 year old man on a snowmobile triggered an avalanche and was buried under 6 to 7 feet of snow. The riding party worked to dig him out, with the later assistance of Star Valley SAR, who arrived on scene shortly after a radio out for help. Sadly, the man did not survive the incident.
